Welcome to Tania Park Bodywork

I am a qualified and fully insured Jing Massage Therapist.
I believe that massage not only helps on a physical level, but is also deeply beneficial on a spiritual, mental and emotional level.
I offer a mindful, meditative massage combining slow, deep, flowing strokes with amma pressure work, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
Each massage that I provide will be tailored to your specific needs at that time.
Nourish your mind, body and soul.

'What is Jing'?
The Jing approach
Jing Advanced Massage Training is a massage school based in Brighton that has been revolutionising the massage industry in the UK since 2003. Developed by Rachel Fairweather and Meghan S.Mari, Jing offers the UK's only degree level course.Â
As they state in their book 'Massage Fusion': 'One of the hallmarks of the Jing approach has always been 'East meets West'. We take the best of both worlds-from the East, the knowledge of meridians, acupressure points and Thai stretching, and an emphasis on self care, holism and the graceful body mechanics of t'ai chi; from the West the insights of Janet Travell into trigger points, the deep fascial work of Ida Rolf, the flowing moves of Pehr Henrick Ling of Swedish masage, insights from Osteopathy and person-centred counselling.'
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage can help to relieve tension and pain by using firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deep layers of the muscle and fascia.
Massage works not only with the body but also with the mind and emotions. Chronic physical problems often go hand in hand with emotional pain and stress, which are all too common in todays world.
My aim is not only to ease any physical aches and pains that you may have, but also to help your mind and spirit feel relaxed, restored and cared for after every treatment.

Onsite Chair Massage
Massage therapy specifically designed for the workplace.
Onsite chair massage is an effective form of massage therapy based on Japanese acupressure massage.
Onsite massage has been shown to:
-relieve aches & pains
-ease headaches
-relax muscles and decrease tension
-help reduce RSI
-alleviate symptoms of stress
Onsite chair massages are perfect for the workplace. At 15 to 20 minutes - they are short - but highly effective. The sessions are not only relaxing but also revitalising, leaving the recipient feeling invigorated and uplifted.
Onsite chair massages are unobtrusive, as the recipient remains fully clothed and no oil or wax is needed. The massage focuses on the back, arms, shoulders, neck and head.
I bring my specially designed massage chair to your workplace, saving time and making it straightforward for staff to access this service. All that is required is a quiet space.
